Canine Behavioral Counseling

Most of us dream of owning a perfect dog, who has never met a stranger, and is kind to all other animals.

Alas most dogs have annoying behaviors such as pulling on a leash, jumping on people, excessive barking, destructiveness, and other undesirable habits.

American College of Veterinary Behaviorists at the contact information below. She is one of the top veterinary behaviorists in the country. Therefore, we are fortunate that she addresses one of the most common behavioral problems in a group class format here on Monday evenings for approved dogs.

This is the "Reactive Dog Class", for dogs who bark, lunge, and become uncontrollable in the presence of other dogs. With Dr. Haug's assistance, and work from you, your nightmare dog can make remarkable improvements, so that you CAN resume walks in the neighborhood, or training for canine sports.

Please note, the Reactive Dog class is NOT suitable for dogs who have attacked and seriously bitten dogs in the past. This problem can be addressed by Dr. Haug in private consultations.
